Mr. Jeffrey W. Wilson, 60, of Barbourville, the widower of Shirley Wilson, passed away Monday afternoon, January 19, 2026 at his home.  He was born February 7, 1965 in Louisville, the son of Dr. Benny J. Wilson and the late Wilma Morris Wilson.

Jeff was a security guard with Union Commonwealth University and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Barbourville.  He enjoyed spending time fishing, but most loved spending time with family and friends. He faithfully served in the United States Navy and the Kentucky Army National Guard.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Berry and Florence Wilson and Lloyd and Nannie Morris.

Survivors include his loving father, Dr. Benny J. Wilson of Barbourville; sisters, Pam Wilson Cook and husband, Dr. Kenneth Cook, of South Carolina, Pat Wilson Parrish and husband, Dr. Cliff Parrish, of Georgia, Sue Wilson Rocchio and husband, Matt, of New York and Marla Wilson of Barbourville; nieces, Lindsay and Jessica Cook; a nephew, Ben Parrish; among other loved ones and dear friends who will cherish his memory.

A private family graveside service was conducted in the Morris Cemetery Monday, February 16.
