FDAK – Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky
Formally established statewide in 1882 as the Kentucky Undertakers Association, the Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky now has a membership of more than 500 firms and associate members. Its mission is to promote high professional ideals and strong public service. In 1947, after years of effort to establish a fiscally sound burial insurance plan, the Kentucky Funeral Directors Burial Association was formed. Today the Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky works with the KFDBA to provide service to Kentuckians while also representing the common interests of its members.
