Mr. Trevor Ray Waskom, 21, of Hinkle, passed away Friday morning, April 26, 2024 in Laurel County, due to injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident.  He was the son of Travis Ray Waskom and Melissa Gail Minton Gray born on February 14, 2003 in Knoxville, TN.

Trevor was a drywaller, known to be a jack of all trades and believed in the Baptist faith.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, cooking, going to the beach and was always on the “go”.  He most loved spending time with his daughter.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Daisy Minton.

Survivors include his parents, Melissa Gray of Corbin and Travis Ray Waskom of Hinkle; step-father, Jim McFarland of London; a daughter, Blakelyn Rae Waskom, her mother, Ariauna Jenkins and the Jenkins family all of London; siblings, Rodney Gray and Michael Gray both of Girdler, Ashley Napier and husband, Michael, of Corbin, Alicia Walker of Knoxville, TN, Amanda Martin and husband, Jacob, and Anthony Gray all of Corbin; grandparents, Bob and Inis Waskom of Hinkle; an aunt, Della Waskom of North Carolina; special uncles, Darryl Gray and Frankie Waskom; several nieces and nephews; among other loved ones and dear friends.

His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Friday, May 3 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Orangie Wheat and Rev. Justin Lewis officiating.  He will be laid to rest in the Gray Cemetery at Girdler.

Casket bearers will be Tate Cunagin, Ethan Mason, Logan Walker, Brayden Martin, Austin Drury, Delvin Smith, Jason Mason and Treston Webb.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Friday prior to the funeral hour.
