Mrs. Ruth Ann Warren, 73, of Barbourville, passed away Saturday evening, November 25, 2023 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Carol Hounschel Hibbard born January 27, 1950 in Oneida.

Ruth was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening and tending her flowers.

On April 6, 1968, she united in marriage with Glenn Warren in Jellico, TN and to this union two sons were born.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a dearly loved son, Darryl Warren; granddaughter, Makayla Warren and siblings, Charles Scott, Douglas Scott, Wayne Hibbard, Donald Hibbard, Michael Hibbard and Regina Hobbs.

Survivors include her loving husband of over 55 years, Glenn Warren of Barbourville; a son, Rodney Steven Warren and wife, Janice, of Swan Lake; a sister, Betty White and husband, Mike, of Corbin; brothers, Toby Hibbard and wife, Sharon, of London and Jimmy Scott and wife, Vivian, of LaPorte, TN; cherished grandchildren, Caitlyn Warren and Rodney Warren II; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Friday, December 1 at 2 PM. with Rev. Donald Tackett officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Hammons Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be family and friends.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Friday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
