TAYLOR, Linda W. (1952 – 2019)

Mrs. Linda Wombles Taylor, 67, of Bimble, passed away Saturday morning, August 17, 2019 at the home of her son.  She was the daughter of the late Perry and Lula Sizemore Wombles born on August 12, 1952 in Bell County.

Linda was a homemaker and a member of the Solid Rock House of Prayer.  She enjoyed cooking, singing, playing the guitar, going to yard sales and dearly loved her dogs.

In 1966, she united in marriage with Lester Wayne Honeycutt and to this union six children were born.  After his passing, she united in marriage with Eddie Ray Taylor in 1991.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter; a great grandson, River Jace Honeycutt; a sister, Virgie Fuson; a brother, Ed Wombles and a brother-in-law, Thomas Gray.

Survivors include her loving husband, Eddie Ray Taylor of Flat Lick; her children, Kathy Mills and husband, Denver, Michael Lester Wayne Honeycutt, Terry Steven Honeycutt and wife, Shirl, Vickie Grubb, Nick Honeycutt and wife, Christina, and Tiffany Nicole Grubb and husband, Eddie, all of Bimble; a sister, Edith Gray of Artemus; 13 grandchildren, Brianna Givens, Destiny Honeycutt, Nicholas Honeycutt, Terry Honeycutt, Tera Brewer, Tyler Honeycutt, Lonnie Grubb, Craig Grubb, Derek Grubb, E. J. Grubb, Cameron Mills, Haley Grubb and Kadience Mills; 12 great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Wednesday, August 21 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Eric Jordan and Rev. David Givens officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Honeycutt Cemetery at Bimble.

Casket bearers will be family and friends.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Bluegrass Hospice Care for their wonderful care during her illness.

Friends may call at the funeral home Monday between 6 and 9 P.M., Tuesday between 2 and 9 P.M. and Wednesday prior to the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
