Mrs. Eva Ford Taylor, 98, of Liberty, passed away Friday evening, June 11, 2021 at the Casey County Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Alex and Sibbie England Ford born on March 16, 1923 in Knox County.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking, keeping house and was a perfect example of a virtuous woman.
On June 25, 1943, she united in marriage with Henry Taylor and to this union a son was born.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; infant son, Clarence Taylor and siblings, Blain Ford, Perry Ford and Claricy Jones.
Survivors include a loving niece, Sharron Patterson of Barbourville; a great niece, Jennifer Mills of Girdler; a great nephew, William Joseph Patterson and wife, Alison, of Soddy Daisy, TN; a brother-in-law, John Taylor of New Albany, IN; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A private graveside service will be conducted in the Barbourville Cemetery Monday, June 14 with Norman Kilmer officiating.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Kilmer family for the love and care they gave Eva.
