Mr. Larhman Strunk, 77, of Gladwin, MI, passed away Friday afternoon, January 22, 2021 at St. Joseph London. He was born on October 30, 1943, the son of Ansel and Nellie Owens Strunk in Oneida, TN.
Larhman was employed for Graff’s Auto working in the body shop for many years until his retirement. He was a Worshipful Master for the Gladwin Masonic Lodge 397 F. & A.M. and also the Mountain Lodge 187 F. & A.M. He was a veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War.
On April 4, 1964, he was united in marriage to Joyce Story in Warren, MI. She preceded him in death in 2008. He later on June 10, 2016, united in marriage with Maudie Jordan.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Maudie Strunk of Kentucky; sons, Brian and Patricia Strunk of Oregon, Larry and Patty Strunk of Kentucky, Kenneth and Kristina Strunk of Gladwin, MI and stepdaughter, Amie and Jay Rumph of Tennessee; grandchildren, Rebecca, Katherine, Micah, Jessica, Larry Jr., Kyle, Chelsea, Bradley, Jaron, and Jase; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Leila Meece, George Strunk, Andel Strunk, Arel “Dee” Strunk, and Terry Strunk; several nieces and nephews; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Funeral Services honoring Mr. Strunk will be conducted at the Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin, MI Thursday, January 28 at 11:00 A.M. He will be laid to rest in the Grout Twp. Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, from 3-8 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin.
