Mrs. Heather Brooke Stacy, 39, of Barbourville, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 2, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  She was the daughter of Edward and Brenda Yother Cooper born on June 8, 1981 in Barbourville.

Heather was a homemaker and a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church.  She enjoyed traveling to Pigeon Forge and the ocean in Florida.

On January 1, 2017, she united in marriage with Paul R. Stacy.

Survivors include her loving husband, Paul Stacy of Barbourville; her parents, Edward and Brenda Cooper of Barbourville; a son, Isaac Denny of Barbourville; two sisters, Tammy Stephens and husband, David, of Russell Springs and Shannon Cooper of Barbourville; a brother, Edward Cooper Jr. of Artemus; two nieces and a nephew, Emily Cooper, Alyssa Stacy and Justin Cooper; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Sunday, March 7 at 2 P.M. with her brother-in-law, Rev. David Stephens, officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be family and friends.

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday between 6 and 8 P.M. and Sunday prior to the funeral hour.

Expressions of sympathy may go to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.

Please remember, during the continuing COVID-19 event, capacity restrictions, social distancing and the wearing of face coverings as mandated by the Governor of Kentucky will be followed during all services.  We appreciate your help with these guidelines so we can continue to serve our community during these trying times in the safest manner possible.
