Mr. Pearl Smith, 67, of Lily, the widower of Marie Scalf Smith, passed away Thursday evening, May 27, 2021 at Baptist Health Lexington.

He was the father of Allen Walker and wife, Donna, of Gray, Pearl Smith, Jr. and Curtis Lewis and wife, Shannell, all of Lily, Timothy Smith and wife, Carolyn, of Corbin, Angie Adkins and husband, Floyd, and Scotty Smith and wife, Jamie, all of Jellico, TN. He was the brother of Ruth Williams, Merlene Hollin and husband, Will, Patsy Gumm and husband, Robert, and Nora Hicks and husband, Kevin, all of London and Darlene Weaver and husband, Danny, of Lily.

He was also blessed with 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

He was of the Baptist faith and a self-employed auto mechanic.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Geneva Smith; a daughter, Sheila Smith Love and three sisters, Freda Hensley, Bernadine Smith and Lona Hail.

His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Laurel Funeral Home Thursday, June 3 at 2 P.M. with Bro. Allen Walker officiating.  He will be laid to rest in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday after 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
