Ms. Lisa Lynn Smallwood, 57, of Corbin, passed away Sunday evening, April 4, 2021 at her home.  She was the daughter of Alta Owens Martin and the late Willard H. Martin born on September 2, 1963 in Barbourville.

Lisa was a former employee of Laurel Heights and Hillcrest Nursing Home and attended the Level Green Baptist Church.  She enjoyed her dog, Sparkle Bell, gardening and tending her flowers.  Her greatest delight was spending time with her five year old best buddy, Aubree Mae Lake.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Axie and Lathern Owens and Delia and Ed Martin.

Survivors include her loving mother, Alta Mae Martin; a daughter, Stacy Keys; sisters, Sharon Hammons, Cora Gibson and Kelley Farris; Joe Smallwood; a special friend and companion, Ed Rice; three granddaughters, Karlie Jackson, Emily Warren and Kinsley Lambert; a host of nieces and nephews; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Following cremation, a gathering of her family and friends will be held in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Tuesday, April 13 between 6 and 8 P.M.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
