SIZEMORE, Jason (1978 – 2019)

Mr. Jason Murriel Sizemore, 41, of Corbin, passed away Monday morning, July 8, 2019 at Baptist Health Corbin.  He was the son of Penny Petrey Sizemore Hosey and the late Murriel Sizemore born on March 17, 1978 in Corbin.

Jason was a FedEx employee and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  He loved playing games, was an avid player of “Magic the Gathering,”
enjoyed walking and family game night. His heroes were Bruce Campbell and Stan Lee, the creator of Marvel Comics.

On June 13, 2009, he united in marriage with Christina Combs.

Survivors include his loving wife, Christina Sizemore of Corbin; his mother, Penny Sizemore Hosey and husband, Byron, of Corbin; three children, Kayari, Isis and Phoebe; a brother, Jarrod Heath and wife, Crystal, of Keavy; two nieces, Madison and Riley Sizemore; a nephew, Jordan Pennington; among other loved ones and dear friends.

His funeral service will be conducted at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Corbin Thursday, July 11 at 12:30 P.M. with Bishop Jim Potter, Scott Lund and Jane Harper officiating.  He will be laid to rest in the Prewitt Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Jarrod Sizemore, Coleman Hughes, Mike Sizemore, Billy Engle, Wayne Combs, Scott Lund and Lonnie Howard.  Honorary bearers will be Mike Pennington, Byron Hosey, Daniel Levon Combs and Brandon Bruce Lee.

Friends may call at the church Thursday after 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
