Miss Brooklyn Rachelle Sizemore passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 at the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital.  She was the infant daughter of Taylor R. Sizemore and Jerrica Rachelle Simpson born on January 28, 2020.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Harper Rayne Sizemore; an aunt, Meagan M. Sizemore; two uncles, Dakotah Lee Sizemore and Ryan J. Baker; great grandparents, Mary Jane Scalf and Mossie and James Simpson Sr.; great-great grandparents, Goldie Hood and Raymond Richard Hood Sr. and Fannie and Oscar Wilburn and Ben Collins.

Survivors include her parents, Taylor Sizemore and Jerrica Simpson of Girdler; a brother, Brentley Sizemore of girdler; aunts and uncles, Dakota Bennett of Green Road, Jamie Reese of Middlesboro, Madyson and Austyn Sizemore and Courtlyn Sturgill all of Woollum; grandparents, Irvin and Joy Fields of Woollum, Jamie Sizemore of Edgewood, James Simpson Jr. of Jenson and Kathy and Johnny Johnson of Green Road; great grandparents, Raymond Jr. and Jennette Hood of Woollum and Shirl Scalf of Artemus; great-great grandparents, Ella and Roy Ballard of Flat Lick; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted at the Green Road Baptist Church Friday, February 14 at 3 P.M. with Rev. Mickie Smith and Rev. Mike Collins officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Nan Riley Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Taylor Sizemore and Austyn Sizemore.

Friends may call at the church Thursday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Friday prior to the funeral hour.

Expressions of sympathy may go to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
