Mr. Larry David Shelton, 73, of Humboldt, TN, formerly of Paducah, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at the Dyer Nursing Home in Dyer, TN.

Larry retired from USEC but spent many years of his life working and teaching industrial arts. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, camping, and being outdoors. However, his greatest joy in life was serving the Lord and loving his family.

Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Rita Shelton; three children, Larry Brian Shelton, Brittany (Scott) Kraemer, Bethany (Scott) Cockrum; two sisters, Belvie Turner and Bonnie (Larry) Payne; five grandchildren, Gracie Brown, Trenton Brown, Brinna Kraemer, Anabelle Cockrum, and Isaac Cockrum.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Wanda Sue Shelton.

A graveside service will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 7 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the Revs. Bobby Strong and Roger Whetstone officiating.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, September 7 at Lindsey Funeral Home
