Mrs. Teresa Gail Rasner, 64, of Rutledge, TN, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at her home.  She was the daughter of Cora Carol Nickell Brewer Sullivan and the late Forest Brewer born on October 16, 1960 in Perry County.

Teresa was a former cashier with Dollar General, nurse aide and of the Christian faith.  She enjoyed crafts and tending flowers.

On December 22, 1980, she united in marriage with Darryl E. Rasner.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by an infant sister.

Survivors include her loving husband, Darryl Rasner of Rutledge, TN; her mother, Cora Sullivan of Somerset; five children, Shelby David Flanigan of Jamestown, Jack Daniel Rasner of Richmond, Jennifer Gail Back of Rutledge, TN, Jesse James Rasner and wife, Cierra, of Bean Station, TN and John Wayne Rasner and wife, Sarah, of Hartford; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Wednesday, August 28 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Shane Bingham officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Bailey-Miller Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be family and friends.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
