Mr. Tippy O’Grady passed away on Thursday, February 06, 2020 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. Richard was a native of Louisville, but was a resident of Woodstock, GA for the last 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Dale O’Grady, mother, Beulah O’Grady and a brother, Robert O’Grady.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Cherrie O’Grady; a son, Joseph O’Grady; his sister, Betsy Fischer and husband, Dan, a niece, Chastity Fischer VanDuynhoven and husband, Tony; nephews, Daniel Fischer and wife, Constance, and Thomas Fischer; three great nephews, Jacob, Isaac and Adam VanDuynhoven; two great nieces, Kaylie VanDuynhoven and Allison Fischer all of Hinesville, GA; his best friends and co-workers, Drew Welch and Jamil Mulla and family; among many other loved ones and dear friends. He will be missed by many!

Following a visitation in Georgia, his funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, February 15 at 3 P.M. Burial will be private.

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday after 2 P.M. until the funeral hour.
