Mrs. Judy Ann Bright Mills, 59, of Rockholds, the wife of Jim Mills, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 22, 2023 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Whitley and Hazel Warren King born on January 10, 1964 in Cincinnati, OH.

Judy was a retired case manager with the Kentucky Division of Family Support and a member of the Swan Pond Baptist Church. She was a member of the Homemakers Club and enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking and gardening. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

On July 3, 1981, she united in marriage with Jim Mills at Turkey Creek Baptist Church and to this union two daughters were born.

In addition to her parents, she in preceded in death by her brothers, James Roy and Bobby Ellis Bright.

Survivors include her loving husband of over 41 years, Jim Mills, of Rockholds; two dearly loved daughters, Jayme Mills and husband, Matthew, of Rockholds and Jennifer Martin and husband, Shane, of Cincinnati, OH; cherished grandchildren, Blake and Vance Mills and Hayden and Lane Martin; sisters Rita Martin and Jenne Edwards and husband, Johnny; a brother, Jerry Bright; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Tuesday, April 25 at 7 P.M. with Rev. Jerry Smith and Rev. Vernon Morris officiating. She will be laid to rest Wednesday, April 26 at 10 A.M. in the Goins Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Matthew Mills, Shane Martin, Hayden Martin, Lane Martin, Logan Martin, Landon Martin and Kyle Murray. Honorary bearers are Michael Mills, Paul Jeffery Mills, Brook Mills, Kent Barton and William Mills Jr.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday after 5 P.M. until the funeral hour.

On Wednesday, family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 10 A.M. for committal services.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
