Mr. Ricky Lee Meyers, 66, of Citra, FL, passed away Monday afternoon, February 7, 2022 at Advent Health Ocala.  He was the son of the late Horace B. and Geneva King Meyers born on March 5, 1955 in Middlesboro.

Ricky was a retired manager from Radio Shack and a member of the Ocala Baptist Temple.  He was a member of the NRA, Harley Davidson Club and the Bell County Rescue Squad.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid outdoorsman who instilled his love of the outdoors in his children.

On October 17, 1987, he united in marriage with Angaline G. Miller.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Chumley.

Survivors include his loving wife of over 34 years, Angaline G. Meyers of Citra, FL; beloved children, Robert Meyers and wife, Barbara, of Wurzburg, Germany, Daniel Meyers and wife, Renee, of Corryton, TN, Brandi Farley and husband, Peyton, of London, Jacob Meyers and wife, Kelsee, of Winter Haven, FL and Jessica Edelmayer and husband, Justin of Interlochen, FL; sisters, Debbi Sutton and husband, Harold, of Pineville and Barb Lawless of Middlesboro; adopted sons, Donald Watts III and wife, Brandy, and Joshua Tomlinson; treasured grandchildren, Samuel Meyers, Brianna Watts, Julia Meyers, Vivian Meyers, James Hinsch, Joshua Hinsch, Elizabeth Wallace, Victoria Belle Watts, Tarah Meyers, Timothy Dante Lopez, Noah Powell, Gabriel Powell, Mathew Meyers, Yuna Tomlinson, Cohen Meyers, Calista Meyers, Luke Meyers, Mathew, Bethany and Isaak Edelmayer; a special niece, Jamie Lynette Pedicone; a special nephew, Rodney Alan Gray; among other loved ones and dear friends.

His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Tuesday, February 22 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Eddie Inman officiating.  He will be laid to rest in the Jackson and Trosper Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Jacob Meyers, Daniel Meyers, Samuel Meyers, Donald Watts III, Justin Edelmayer, Joshua Tomlinson and James Edelmayer.  Serving as honorary bearers will be Joshua Hinsch, Noah Powell, Gabriel Meyers and Mathew Meyers.

Friends may call at the funeral home Monday between 6 and 8 P.M. and Tuesday prior to the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
