Mrs. Anna Mills Liford, 68, of Hinkle, the widow of Rev. Ronnie Dean Liford, passed away Saturday morning, October 16, 2021 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Victor and Viola Mills born on October 15, 1953 at Salt Gum.

Anna was a homemaker and a member of God’s church.  She enjoyed cooking meals for her family, keeping a spotless house, singing and going to flea markets wit her husband.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Vernon Dean Liford and four sisters, Jelois Mills, Doris Smith, Beatrice Mills and Brenda Mills.

Survivors include her beloved grandchildren, Dustin Hunter Liford of Barbourville, Jacob Liford of London and Chloe Riley of Cannon; a sister, Mildred Smith and husband, Cleveland, of Bimble; two brothers, Victor Mills Jr. and wife, Mae, and Denver Mills all of Scalf; a special niece, Michelle Smith; among other nieces, nephews, loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Sunday, October 24 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Tip Smith and Rev. Mickie Smith officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Hammons Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Cleveland Smith, Ronnie Payne, Garry Payne, Terry Payne, Tony Rhodes and Scott Moore.

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday between 6 and 8 P.M. and Sunday prior to the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
