Mrs. Magdalene Patterson Lee, 87, of Heidrick, passed away Friday evening, March 11, 2022 at the Barbourville ARH Hospital.  She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lillie Deaton Patterson born on March 31, 1934 in Knox County.

Maggie was a retired clerk from the Kentucky Department of Highways and a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church.  After her retirement, she worked in the meat department at Save-A-Lot where she made many friends.  She enjoyed spending time with her sister, Mary Irene.  Wherever you saw one sister, the other one wasn’t far behind.  She also found great enjoyment in her “furry” grandchildren.

On August 8, 1959, she united in marriage with Keith Lee and to this union a daughter was born.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith and a brother, Cecil Patterson.

Survivors include her loving daughter, Shawn Lee of Heidrick; a dearly loved sister, Mary Irene Patterson of Heidrick; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, March 19 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Jeffery Branum, Rev. Eddie Inman and Rev. Larry Sizemore officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Patterson Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Mike Deaton, Larry Sizemore, Bob Dunaway, Brian Bohl, Charlie Bill Clouse and Ronnie Deaton.  Honorary bearers will be the ladies of Highland Park Baptist Church.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday between 6 and 8 P.M. and Saturday prior to the funeral hour.

Expressions of sympathy may go to the Highland Park Baptist Church in her memory.
