Mr. Granville Lee, 59, of Turkey Creek, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 13, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was the son of the late Marion and Margie Sizemore Lee born on October 25, 1961 in Portland, OR.
Granville was a truck driver with Prairie Farms and known by many as “Milkman”. He was a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
On November 27, 1981, he united in marriage with Bertha Faye Honeycutt and to this union four children were born.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Marion Lee Jr., Arnold Lee and Sharon Wilson.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Bertha Lee of Turkey Creek; four beloved children, Chassidy Saylor and husband, Gilbert, and James Daniel Lee all of Turkey Creek, Stephanie Williams and husband, Westley, of Corbin and Justin Cody Lee of Turkey Creek; three sisters, Phyllis Pack of Louisville, Henrietta Seiber and husband, Oscar, of Atwood, TN and Linda Epperson and husband, John, of Middlesboro; two brothers, Rev. Jimmy Lee and wife, Della, of Boone Height and Mike Lee and wife, Ruby, of Middlesboro; six grandchildren, Britney, Brianna, Braxton, Kyleighan, Gabe and Deklen; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted at the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church Sunday, May 16 at 3 P.M. with Rev. Clifford Slaven officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Lee Family Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Todd Pratt, Randy Johnson, Gary Powell, Earl Brock, Steven Brock and David Cottrell. Serving as an honorary bearer will be Billie Hacker.
Friends may call at the church Sunday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
