Mrs. Elizabeth June Lane, 78, of Bel Air, MD, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 in Bel Air.  She was the daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth Hubbard Hammons born on April 12, 1943 at Girdler.

Elizabeth was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Assembly of God in Lutherville, MD.

On September 5, 1964, she united in marriage with George William Lane.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her loving husband, George William Lane of Bel Air, MD; two daughters, Kimberly Mazziott and husband, Scott, of Bel Air, MD and Elizabeth Scott and husband, Steven, of Versailles; two sisters, Patricia Hammons of Barbourville and Janice West and husband, Glen, of Corbin; seven grandchildren, Michael Dorman and wife, Kaitlynn, Matthew Dorman, Emily Dorman, Rachael Howell, Kayla Montero and husband, Cristian, Kora and Isabella Scott; among other loved ones and dear friends.

A graveside service will be conducted in the Barbourville Cemetery Saturday, August 21 at 12 Noon with Rev. Charles Taylor officiating.

Casket bearers will be family and friends.

Family and friends will gather at the cemetery prior to the service time.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
