KILLION, Mary Bet (1932 – 2019)

Mrs. Mary Bet Killion, 87, of Detroit, MI, the widow of John Floyd Killion, passed away Tuesday morning, December 24, 2019 at the Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn.  She was the daughter of the late Nathern and Allie Logan Senters born on November 1, 1932 in Knox County.

Mary was a homemaker and a member of the Little Poplar Creek Baptist Church.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, going to yard sales and listening to country music.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John F. Killion Jr. and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children, Ada Gibbs of Livonia, MI, Betty Williams and William Ben Killion and wife, Pamela, all of Detroit, MI and Mark Killion and wife, Yvonne, of Taylor, MI; a sister, Sue Smith and husband, James, of Barbourville; two brothers, Jim Dave Senters and wife, Jewel, of Goshen, OH and Clearance Senters of Barbourville; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted at the Little Poplar Creek Baptist Church Tuesday, December 31 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Marvis Pridemore and Rev. Bill Gray officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Lay Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be family and friends.

Friends may call at the funeral home Monday between 3 and 9 P.M. and at the church Tuesday after 10 A.M. until the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
