Mr. Ellis Hubbard, 77, of Pineville, formerly of Barbourville, the widower of Lois Daniels Hubbard, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 20, 2025 at the Pineville Community Health Center.  He was born June 3, 1947 at Mills, the son of the late Allen Hubbard and Virginia Maxine Palmer Hubbard Gambrel.

Ellis was a former sawmill worker and a member of the Bethesda Baptist Church.  He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother Billy Hubbard and a sister, Dorothy Marie Dugan and husband, Daniel.

Survivors include brothers, David Hubbard and wife, Janie, of Detroit, MI, Larry Hubbard and wife, Cathy, of Middlesboro and Robert Gambrel and wife, Pauline, of Middlesboro; among other loved ones and dear friends.

No services are planned.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
