Mrs. Anna Lois Hollin, 77, of Eastview, passed away Tuesday morning, February 8, 2022 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Code and Eulene Smith Mills born on July 19, 1944 in Knox County.

Anna Lois was a homemaker and a member of the New Life Vision Church.  She enjoyed tending her roses, tulips, irises, lilies, and Gabriel’s trumpets, gardening, cooking family favorites including bacon and eggs and chicken and dumplings, reading and sitting on the porch watching her grandchildren play.

On December 24, 1959, she united in marriage with Larkin Hollin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Logan Sizemore; a sister, Zelma Mills; brothers, Paul C. Mills and Terry Mills; sons-in-law, Rodney Sizemore and Joe Keown and a special friend, Brenda McCrystal.

Survivors include her loving husband of over 62 years, Larkin Hollin of Eastview; eight children, Larkin Kim Hollin of Barbourville, Marty Hollin and wife, Tammy, of Gray, Missy Sizemore of Corbin, Ralph McNear and husband, Timmy, of Big Clifty, Sam Hollin of Eastview, Josh Hollin of Leitchfield, Tasha Hollin of Elizabethtown and Brittany Lucas and husband, Adam, of Cecilia; her siblings, Colene George, Sherry Sanders, Debbie Miller, Bobbie Jean Thompson, Denny Miller, John A. Miller, John E. Miller, Kerry Miller, Rick Miller, Harold Miller and Jerry Mills; 23 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Sunday, February 13 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Charlie Humfleet and Rev. Chris McGuffin officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Farris Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be members of her family.

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Sunday prior to the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
