
Mr. Darryl Lee Hinkle, 66, of Beavercreek, OH, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026. He was born January 24, 1960 in Dayton, OH, the son of Juanita Hinkle and the late Belve Hinkle.
Darryl retired after 33 years of dedicated service from the Carpenter’s Union. He was also a Business Agent for the Union, where he was a member for 40 years. Woodworking, both professionally and personally, was a passion of his. In his free time, he enjoyed working in his garden. He was an avid Ohio sports fan and never missed a chance to argue sports or politics with his best friend, Jay Crawford. His family meant the world to him, but his proudest moment was becoming a beloved Papaw to his “partner in crime”, Addison Grace.
Other loved ones to precede him in death include his grandparents, Arthur and Mary Swafford and James and Millie Hinkle.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving wife, Darla Sue Hinkle; children, Cody Nicholas Hinkle and wife, Samantha, and Taylor Nicole Heil and husband, Ryan; a granddaughter, Addison Grace Heil; a brother, Rodney Hinkle; his beloved dog, Brutus; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek, OH Thursday, March 19 at 6 P.M.
Friends may visit at the Newcomer Funeral Home Thursday after 4 P.M. until the time of service.
