HILL, Jackie L. (1953 – 2019)
Mrs. Jackie L. Hill, 66, of Bimble, passed away Wednesday morning, July 3, 2019 at the home of her granddaughter in Manchester. She was the daughter of the late James and Vesta Ann Castle Crawford born on May 28, 1953 in Detroit, MI.
Jackie was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed crocheting, reading the Bible and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
On June 15, 1970, she united in marriage with Rev. Raymond Hill and to this union two children were born.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend, Raymond; a sister, Lorine Crawford; three brothers, Eugene, Thomas and James Clifton Crawford; a special cousin, Lynn Jones and a special friend, Rev. Bobby Epperson.
Survivors include her children, Susan Raye Fritts and husband, David, of Williamsburg and Tammy Marie Hill of Barbourville; two sisters, Virginia Sue Barnett and Linda Kay Crawford both of Girdler; two brothers, Randel Crawford of Nicholasville and Pascal Crawford and wife, Denise, of Woollum; three grandchildren, Anjelica Hobbs and fiancé, Doug Woods, Jonathan Gray and fiancé, Chelsea Smith, and Raymond Scott; great grandchildren, Felysha and Gunner Hobbs, McKinley Lewis, Noah, Konner, Brayleigh and Karter Gray, Conner Trent, Jaylee and Rylie Davis; a very special niece and nephew, Teresa Crawford and Tristen Barnett; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Sunday, July 7 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Tommy Frazier, Rev. Scotty Jewell and Rev. Nick Honeycutt officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Raymond Gray Jr., Justin Hobbs, Aubrey Smith, Grant Woods, Johnny Jordan and Larry Bruner. Honorary bearers will be Jonathan Gray and Marcus Hobbs.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday between 6 and 9 P.M, Saturday between 10 A.M. and 9 P.M. and Sunday prior to the funeral hour.
