Mrs. Ruby Hale, 92, of Flat Lick, passed away Sunday evening, August 23, 2020 at the Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the daughter of the late Lum and Lillie Gray Carnes born on October 18, 1927 in Knox County.
Ruby was a former homemaker, who loved her family and a member of the Bethesda Baptist Church.
In 1947, she united in marriage with Otis Hale, who preceded her in death.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tammy Ross; great grandson, Matthew Gregory; a sister; nine brothers and two sons-in-law, Wendall Daniels and Moonie Heck.
Survivors include her children, Jacqueline Townsley and husband, Eldon, Betty Heck and Patricia Daniels all of Himyar and Larry Hale of Artemus; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A private graveside service will be conducted in the Farley Cemetery with Rev. Gary King officiating.
Casket bearers will be her grandsons.
There will be no public visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
