Mrs. Martha Mildred Spivey Hale, 97 years old, of Winamac, IN, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025 in Winamac. She was born Saturday, March 24, 1928 in Barbourville, the daughter of the late David Spivey and the late Sarah Prichard Spivey.

Mildred was a member of the 1st Freewill Baptist Church.  She enjoyed making biscuits, sewing, gardening and canning.  Some of her greatest passions were her cats and, spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are Son, Charlie Hale and wife, Barbara, of Winamac, IN, Daughter, Dana Lemke of North Judson, IN; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, John Spivey and wife, Joyce, of Barbourville, and Aubrey Spivey and wife, Patsy, of Richmond.

She was preceded in death by first husband, Dan Miracle and her second husband, James Hale; parents, David and Sarah Spivey; son, James Hale; daughter, Kathy Miracle; brothers, Herbert, Herschel, Bob and Tom Spivey and sisters, Doris Jackson, Barbarba Williamson and Leola Spivey.

Friends will be received after 11 AM until time of service at 1 PM, Friday, November 28 at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home in North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Friday, November 28, 2025 at 1 PM with Rev. Eddie Trusty officiating.  Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery, North Judson, IN 46366.
