Ms. Bonnie Louise Gray, 75, of Barbourville, passed away Monday afternoon, January 16, 2023 at St. Joseph London.  She was the daughter of the late Russell Burgess and Dora Mae Bingham born on September 1, 1947 in Knox County.

Bonnie was a homemaker and a member of the Old Flat Lick Baptist Church.  She enjoyed reading, shopping, tending flowers and cooking delicious meals including chicken and dumplings, biscuits and gravy, a variety of desserts and homemade candy.

In 1963, she united in marriage with Mack Gray and to this union three children were born.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life-long friend, Mack Gray and two sisters, Barbara and Connie.

Survivors include her three loving children, Maxine Gray of Flat Lick, Michael Gray of Johnson City, TN and Donnie Gray of Ogden, UT; dearly loved grandchildren, Travis Cutter and wife, Faye, Bonita, Isabella and Sofia Gray and Carlos Lopez and wife, Ashley; great grandchildren, Tristan and Skyler Cutter and Jeremiah, Jordan and Aryanna Lopez; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Sunday, January 22 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Mike Collins officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Binghamtown Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Michael Gray, Donnie Gray, Travis Cutter, Carlos Lopez, Darren Smith and Aaron Gray.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Sunday prior to the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
