Mrs. Janice Faye Grant, 69, of Mills, passed away Friday morning, May 15, 2026 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.  She was born February 7, 1957 in Pineville, the daughter of the late Hobert and Effie Messer Bargo.

Janice was a homemaker and a member of the Salem Baptist Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her dogs and tending flowers, especially her roses.  She loved the outdoors and in earlier years, enjoyed hiking.

On April 12, 1976, she united in marriage with Ernest Lee Grant who survives her.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Thursday, May 21 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Herman Mills and Rev. Charles Carnes officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Lige Mills Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be family and friends.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
