Mr. Bill Grace, 76, of Barbourville, passed away Tuesday morning, August 24, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Reed and Ora Eve Grace born on January 30, 1945 in Barbourville.
Bill was a former heavy equipment operator with Brock Excavating Co. and a member of the Richland Christian Church. He enjoyed landscaping his yard and dearly loved spending time with his grandchildren.
On March 27, 1969, he united in marriage with Eleanor Marie Kidd.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor; a beloved son, Mike Grace and an infant sister, Helen Grace.
Survivors include his loving sons, Stephen Grace and wife, Cassie, and Kevin Grace and wife, Tiffany, all of Barbourville; six treasured grandchildren, Dylan, Nicole, Alex, Jaycee, Caden and Elliana, expected to arrive soon; special “kids”, Eric Bryant and Samantha Brock; dear friends, Joyce Croley and Georgia Abner; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, August 28 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Tommy Frazier and Rev. Ken Merida officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
Casket bearers will be Will Dunaway, Jimmy Mays, Asher Croley, Aaron Ledford, Bobby Mullis and Jason Gambrel. Honorary bearers will be Willie Ray Hurley, Greg Foley, Brian Ramsey, Josh Ramsey, Steven Brock, Josh Brock, Dylan Brock and the members of the Knox Co. EMS, Knox Co. SORT, Pineville City Fire Department, East Knox Fire Department and the Bailey Switch Fire Department.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Saturday prior to the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
