Ms. Beatrice Smith Fisher, 69 of Barbourville, passed away Friday evening, June 11, 2021 at the Barbourville ARH Hospital.  She was the daughter of the late Joe and Bertha Barley Smith born on March 3, 1952 in Knox County.

Beatrice was a homemaker, a former employee of Lawson Furniture and a member of the Union Mission Baptist Church.  She loved singing in church, spending time with friends and family and dearly loved time spent with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Eula Smith Peace, Lizzie Kelly, Joe, Earnest, Michael and Arthur Smith.

Survivors include her beloved children, Ron Dale Fisher and wife, Tracy, of Bimble and Angela Dunn and husband, Rev. Brandon, of Barbourville; a sister, Mildred Calloway and husband, Clarence, of Barbourville; seven treasured grandchildren, Gabrielle Coulter and husband, Steven, Danielle and Rayelle Fisher, Skylar, Cameron, Nathan and Courtney Dunn; a great granddaughter, Rilynn Coulter; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Thursday, June 17 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Donnie Mills and Rev. Derrick Mills officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Hutchins Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Ron Helton, Steven Coulter, Ricky Smith, Brandon Dunn and Skylar Dunn.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday between 6 and 8 P.M. and Thursday prior to the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
