Mrs. Jenne Lynn Edwards, 64, of Lily, the wife of John Edwards, passed away Friday evening, May 15, 2026 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.  She was born February 7, 1962 in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of the late Whitley Bright and Hazel Warren Bright King.

Jenne was a billing specialist with the Cabinet for Health and Human Services and of the Baptist faith.  She enjoyed tending flowers and working puzzles.  She also enjoyed having coffee on the porch each morning and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Bright Mills and brothers, Bobby Ellis and James Roy Bright.

Survivors include her loving husband, John Edwards of Lily; a daughter, Johnna Murray and husband, Kyle, of Lily; a brother, Jerry Bright of Gray; cherished grandchildren, Tucker, Skylar and River Murray; among other loved ones and dear friends.

A graveside service will be conducted in the Bright Cemetery Wednesday, May 20 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Scott Warren officiating.

Casket bearers will be family and friends.

Friends may visit at the cemetery after 10:45 A.M. until the time of service.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
