DANIELS, Clem “Sonny” (1947 – 2019)

Mr. Clem F. “Sonny” Daniels, 72, of Hinkle, passed away Friday morning, October 25, 2019 at his home. He was the son of the late George and Mary Jeane Shelton Daniels born on January 13, 1947 in Knox County.

Sonny was a carpenter and a member of the Hughes Hill Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working.

On May 22, 1967, he united in marriage with Stella Jane Mills.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Tammy Sue Wilburn and Jenita Daniels; a sister, Alice Warren and a brother, Roy Ben Metcalf.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jane Daniels of Hinkle; two children, Clem F. Daniels Jr. and wife, Kathy, of Bimble and Patricia Mills and husband, Brian, of Corbin; a sister, Alsie Daniels and husband, Mark, of Lavonia, MI; a brother-in-law, Darrell Warren of Corbin; son-in-law, Wayne Wilburn of Barbourville; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.

His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Tuesday, October 29 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Mickie Smith and Rev. David Mounce officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Callebs Creek Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be family and friends.

Friends may call at the funeral home Monday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Tuesday prior to the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
