Ms. Mary Lynn Collins, 53, of Flat Lick, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 14, 2021 at the Barbourville ARH Hospital. She was the daughter of Roy R. Smith and the late Joann Smith born on March 31, 1968 in Barbourville.
Mary was a janitorial supervisor with Northstar Maintenance Group and a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church. She enjoyed tending her flowers, gardening, collecting antiques and dearly loved spending time with her family.
She united in marriage with Taylor Collins and to this union a son was born.
Survivors include her loving father, Roy Smith of Elam Branch; a beloved son, Kyle Collins and wife, Brianna, of Cannon; a sister, Ruby Jewell Smith of Elam Branch; a special friend, Lupe Ramirez and husband, Mike; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A graveside service will be conducted in the Smith Cemetery at Elam Branch Sunday, September 19 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Lonnie Collett officiating.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Family and friends may gather at the cemetery Sunday prior to the service time.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
