Mr. Jody Howard Castle, 45, of Barbourville, the husband of Amy Stamper Castle, passed away Monday morning, August 12, 2024 at the Barbourville ARH Hospital. He was the son of Beatrice Brown Castle Hamilton and the late William Hamilton born on January 9, 1979 in Pineville.

Jody was a former truck driver and of the Holiness faith. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, taking fishing trips, picking at people and going to haunted houses. He most cherished time spent with his family.

On January 9, 2002 he united in marriage with Amy Stamper.

In addition to his father, William Hamilton, he was preceded in death by a son, Austin H. Castle, sister, Jackie Hamilton and brother, Randy Hamilton.

Survivors include his loving wife, Amy Castle of Lily; children, Kristen Whitaker and husband, Brian, Dalton Stamper and wife, Cassie, Kevin Shane Castle and Sierra Nicole Castle; siblings, Kimberly Peterson, Regina Grimsley, James Castle, Billy Castle, Rebecca Lowery, Rosetta Hamilton, Bobbie Hamilton and Betty Hamilton; his mother, Beatrice Hamilton; grandchildren, Braydon Whitaker and Colton Stamper; a special friend, Art Hinkle; among other relatives and dear friends.

His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Monday, August 19 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Wayne Holder and Rev. Randy Clark officiating.  He will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Sunday between 6 until 8 P.M. and Monday prior to the funeral hour.

If you wish, gifts may be made in the form of contributions to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
