BURNETTE, Cecil Ray – Courtesy Announcement
Mr. Cecil Ray Burnette, 80, of Millville, OH, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019. He was the son of the late Albert and Lois Jackson Burnette born on June 30, 1939 in Knox County.
He was employed at Champion Papers, M. Bohlke Veneer and also worked in maintenance for the Talawanda Schools. Cecil served in the National Guard for nine years. He was a member of the Timberhill Baptist Church.
On September 24, 1966 at Cannon, he united in marriage with Juanita Kelley and to this union two children were born.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, S. J. Hammons.
He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Burnette; two children, Shawn (Dennis) Davis and Rodney (Lisa) Burnette; grandchildren, Sarah (Mark) Figueroa, Haley Davis, Tyler Davis and Ava Burnette; two brothers, Willard (Evelyn) Burnette and James Burnette; a sister, Alice Hammons and many other loving relatives and friends.
His funeral service will be conducted at the Timberhill Baptist Church, 144 Timber Hill Drive, Hamilton, OH 45013 Saturday, October 19 at 1 P.M. He will be laid to rest in the Millville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church Saturday after 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
