Mr. Stanley Bryant, 70, of Kingtown, passed away Friday evening, December 9, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was the son of the late Rich and Geneva Ruth King Bryant born on February 27, 1952 in Detroit, MI.
Stanley was a former forklift operator with the Cadillac division of General Motors and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed listening to music, classic cars and watching television, especially westerns. Stanley faithfully served our country in the United States Air Force.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanetta Bryant; two sons, Stanley Jr. and Richard Bryant; a sister, Phyllis Gray and a brother, Bobby Bryant.
Survivors include his fiancé, Katherine Myers of Kingtown; two children, Angela Bryant of Lincoln Park, MI and Larry David Bryant; a brother, Larry Bryant and wife, Brenda, of Kingtown; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A graveside service will be conducted in the Bryant Cemetery Wednesday, December 14 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Charles Lee officiating.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday after 12 Noon until 1:30 P.M. at which time family and friends will go in procession to the cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
