Mr. Tommy Brown, 64, of Bimble, passed away Wednesday evening, May 15, 2024 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was the son of the late Obie and Julie Collins Brown born on August 2, 1959 in Pineville.
Tommy was a farmer and of the Holiness faith. He enjoyed reading his Bible, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Marie Brown, Bonnie Brown and Ruth Gray; brothers, Roscoe and Russell Brown; brothers-in-law, Roy Gray, Bob Gray and Melvin Christie and nephew, Obie Gray.
Survivors include his sisters, Juanita Gray of Bimble, Joann Gray of Flat Lick and Charlotte Christie of Clarksville, TN; brothers, Walter Brown and wife, Sheila, and Mitchell Brown all of Bimble and Bryant Brown and wife, Linda, of Jack Fork; a brother-in-law, Flem Gray of Flat Lick; several nieces and nephews; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Sunday, May 19 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Jimmy Helton and Rev. Mike Collins officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Brown Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Scotty Brown, Roscoe Brown, Jerry West, Brandon Gray, Junior Gray and Walter Douglas Brown.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Sunday prior to the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
