Mr. Randall Jordan, 68, of Callebs Creek, passed away Thursday evening, August 13, 2026 at his home. He was born August 8, 1958 at Hinkle, he ninth child of the late Gaston and Gladys Smith Jordan.
Randall was a former coal miner and a member of the Dripping Springs Baptist Church. In earlier years, he enjoyed gardening. He was an avid UK fan and was kind-hearted. He was raised on Callebs Creek playing and working alongside his five sisters and five brothers. There were always an abundance of siblings, cousins and neighbors with whom to roam the woods, hoe the fields and make lasting memories.
On January 26, 1980, he united in marriage with Brenda Kay Mills and to this union a son, Brandon Gaston Jordan, was born. Brandon was born with Cystic Fibrosis and given a poor prognosis at birth. For the next few months, he and Brenda dedicated their lives to taking care of his constant needs. Brandon passed on July 26, 1984, at nine months old.
In addition to his parents and son, he was preceded in death by wife, Brenda; grandparents, Lizzie and Ewell Jordan and Lucy and Wiley Smith; three sisters, Phyliss Jean McBee, Donna Price and Janis Rouse; four brothers, Clifford, Ewell, Wiley and Ricky Jordan; a sister-in-law, Imogene Jordan and brothers-in-law, Frank McBee and Johnny Townsley.
Survivors include his partner, Karen Brittain; two sisters, Jeanette Townsley and Vina Price and husband, Terry; a brother, Dennis Jordan and wife, Carla; sisters-in-law, Kathy and Florene Jordan; two brothers-in-law, Jack Rouse and Harold Price; several nieces and nephews all of whom he adored; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A graveside service will be conducted in the Callebs Creek Cemetery Tuesday, August 18 at 4 P.M. with Rev. Roger Liford officiating.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Family and friends will gather at the cemetery Tuesday prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, if you would like to help the family with funeral expenses, donations may go to Knox Funeral Home in his memory.
