Mrs. Martha Ann Bratten, 57, of London, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 15, 2026 at her home.  She was born August 14, 1968 in Sandwich, IL, the daughter of the late Anderson and Brenda Lockard Smith.

Martha was a law office receptionist and a believer of the Baptist faith.  She was a devoted homemaker and dearly loved spending time with her grandchildren.

On September 24, 1988, she united in marriage with Raymond Bratten in Plano, IL and to this union three children were born.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Smith.

Survivors include her loving husband, Raymond Bratten of London; three sons, Nathan Bratten and wife, Erica, Jacob Bratten and Briar Bratten all of London; a brother, Charles Smith of London; cherished grandchildren, Whittney, Ledger, Falen and Harley Bratten; among other loved ones and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Friday, February 20 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Darrell Warren officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Candle Ridge Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be family and friends.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Friday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
