Mr. Robert Mills, 65, of Bimble, passed away Saturday morning, October 11, 2025 at the UK Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington.  He was born May 16, 1960 in Pineville, the son of the late J. C. and Madeline Bargo Mills.

Robert was a former sawmill machine operator and believed in the Baptist faith.  He was known to be a kind and gentle man, who enjoyed being out of doors and four-wheeling.  Robert was also a collector of knives and coins.

He first united in marriage with Bertha Ann Brown and to this union three children were born.  Later on April 11, 2023, he united in marriage with Teresa Ann Goley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Arnold Mills.

Survivors include his loving wife, Teresa Ann Mills of Bimble; cherished children, Rebecca Pace and husband, Allen, of Biloxi, MS, Dennie Mills of Florida and Robin Mills and husband, Joshua, of Corbin; step-children, Meranda Lomio and husband, Michael, of Barbourville, Danielle Settles and husband, Jeff, of Girdler, Timothy Bargo of Bimble and Travis Bargo and fiancé, Kate, of Williamsburg; treasured grandchildren, Natalie, Olivia, Jaxon, Lincoln, Lillian and Abram; step-grandchildren, Kendall, Olivia, Addison, Kynsley, Ivan, Marianna, Michael, Aspen and Miley, who will arrive soon; among other loved ones and dear friends.

His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Monday, October 20 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Mickie Smith and Rev. Charles Fisher officiating.  He will be laid to rest in the Mills Family Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Joshua Mills, Junior Teague, Kelly Teague, Hobert Teague, Wayne Teague and Jeff Settles.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
