Ms. Martha Jane Mills, 65, of Barbourville, passed away Sunday morning, October 26, 2025 at the St. Joseph London Hospital.  She was born February 17, 1960 in Pineville, the daughter of the late V. A. and Freeda Joyce Rogers Mills.

Jane was a former licensed practical nurse with the Knox County Hospital and loved nursing and caring for people.  She believed in the Baptist faith and spent time reading and studying her Bible.  Jane also enjoyed music.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Donna Mills and Marilyn Mills and a brother, Ronnie Mills.

Survivors include the father of her children, George McAdams of Barbourville; loving children, David McAdams and wife, Amy, and George McAdams Jr. and wife, Amanda, all of Barbourville; brothers, Albert Mills and wife, Becky, and Johnny Mills and wife, Wendi, all of Barbourville; cherished grandchildren, Whitney Hampton, Kelsey Thomas and husband, Jesse, and Megan Warren; great grandchildren, Ellie and Luke Thomas; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Thursday, October 30 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Scott Phipps and Rev. Mike Jackson officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Beatty Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Nick Mills, Dale Owens, Elijah Broughton, Jesse Thomas, Jason Lake, James Woolum, Johnathon Mills and Jamey Mills.  Serving as an honorary bearer will be Thomas Gary.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday after 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
